It's summertime. Days are warm, nights are cool, and it's fun to get together to dance, and have a good time.
This photographic work had its roots in a photoshoot I did for Blue Ridge Life Magazine. Five individual photographs were taken, then combined in post and converted to black and white for the results you see here.
Black and white photographic works have a documentary look to them, and I make my living at my profession as a photojournalist. My intent today was to create a look with a documentary look, yet still has an artistic flair. I think I succeeded. Hope you agree as well
I will be at this same location tomorrow evening, again, covering the same event (Starry Nights At Veritas) for Blue Ridge Life. What is neat about covering an event year after year is that you can approach the photoshoot from a different angle and try something new. That's what I will be doing tomorrow evening.
