I love capturing Americana. If you travel to Charlottesville, Virginia and visit the Downtown Mall, you will see several scenes like the one shown here -- musicians playing for donations.
A bit of trivia. The Downtown Mall was at one time part of Main Street in the old section of Charlottesville, and was also part of Route 250 and Three Notch'd Road. Today it is a pedestrian mall with shops, boutiques, restaurants, the like. During the summer months "Fridays After 5" is a big attraction.
Americana at it's best. Something I am grateful to capture for future generations.
