A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE (06/25)

A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE (06/25)

Today, let's look at things from a different perspective.

First, let me interject that when I was writing the commentary for today's work, I accidentally deleted it when I was finished. Oh well! So now I get to write it again. Let's see how much I can remember.

Today's Photograph Of the Day is a variant from the one I published on 06/24 and I like it much better. Why? It "pops". Let me explain. It pops is because of the stark contrast differences between the clouds, Humpback Mountain, and the vegetation in the foreground. Also note the subtle variations of grey. Okay, what else did I say before? Oh! Sometimes I think color can be distracting, and, I think black and white makes for a more dramatic work. Yeah, that's right.

I also wrote about being a perfectionist. It's a bitch. I often drive people around me nuts. And when you are a perfectionist, you probably have some form of OCD. At least I do.

When writing today's commentary (before I deleted it) I noticed a flaw in the work. You probably would not have noticed it, but for me it was tantamount to pebble in my shoe. I fixed the issue and all is right with the world once more. At least until tomorrow when I will do this again.

I also spoke about why I use leading zeroes in my date references. After being in the Engineering and IT industries for a long time, it becomes a way of life. Hope you don't mind. It really annoys some people. Maybe it's just my OCD.

So I think I remembered everything, and for your benefit, the commentary is not as long. So maybe deleting it previously was a good thing. Most importantly, I did not get angry.

Until tomorrow,
