Today's photographic work comes from a photoshoot that I did last Saturday evening (06/13). Last Friday (06/12) I exhibited a photograph from an event called Starry Nights at Veritas, which is one of several wineries here in Nelson County, Virginia. Today's exhibition comes from the same event, only more recently. I have photographed this event for several years as it is an annual summer event. My last name is of Italian descent. My maternal and paternal grandparents emigrated from Italy at the beginning of the last century. When I was growing up, wine was always a part of the meal at gatherings of our aunts, uncles, and cousins. I drink a glass of wine daily. I always enjoy a good Pinot Grigio or Cabernet Sauvignon. For me, what I like to do most is to go to a local winery with a friend, preferably one of the opposite sex, drink a few glasses of wine, and just engage in good intelligent conversation. For me, there is no finer way to spend a summer afternoon.
Lastly, and this is just a bit of Harry Potter trivia, "Veritaserum" is a potion that forces the drinker tell the truth when asked a question. Yes, I am a big Harry Potter fan.
